Miller Controls The Range Before Closing The Show
The height and reach difference shaped the fight immediately. Miller worked behind his jab, changed levels with attacks to the body and kept Goff at the end of his combinations. An early head kick landed flush, but Goff stayed upright and continued trying to force his way inside.
Miller’s accuracy kept separating the two as the fight progressed. Uppercuts met Goff’s forward movement, while straight punches repeatedly interrupted his entries. Goff remained durable through the second round, but he returned to his corner carrying the damage from a fight that had offered him few clean openings.
His corner sent him back out for Round 3. Miller stepped into range almost immediately and landed the right hand that dropped Goff. The follow-up attack brought the referee in, ending the contest only 15 seconds after the restart.

Two UFC Fights, Two Stoppages For Ty Miller
The victory moves Miller to 8-0 as a professional and 2-0 in the UFC. The 26-year-old earned his contract through Dana White’s Contender Series in 2025, then stopped Adam Fugitt at 4:59 of Round 1 in his UFC 324 debut. Goff is his second consecutive UFC stoppage and the fourth knockout win of his career.
Miller entered the event as one of the less-established names on a card topped by Mateusz Gamrot and Quillan Salkilld. The performance supplied a clear step forward: he handled an opponent with three previous UFC appearances and never allowed the bout to become Goff’s preferred pressure fight.
Goff falls to 9-5 overall and 1-3 in the UFC. Seven of his nine wins have come by knockout, including his UFC debut finish of Yusaku Kinoshita, but he has now lost three straight. His previous defeat came by guillotine against Ramiz Brahimaj, who is now scheduled to face Neil Magny at UFC 330.
The result followed a clean Friday weigh-in for both welterweights, part of a card that survived Amanda Lemos’ early scale scare. Miller left the event with his unbeaten record intact and a second finish in as many UFC starts.
