UFC On Fox 28 went down on Saturday night (Feb 24, 2018) at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.
UFC knockout artist Mike Perry faced off against Max Griffin in the co-main event.
Max Griffin scored a unanimous decision victory over hometown favorite Mike Perry. Griffin was able to drop Perry with a left hand in round two but “Platinum” refused to stay down and forced a third and final round of the contest.
Mike could not earn the finish in third-round, and Max Griffin ended up scoring the fight via unanimous judges decision.
Perry’s girlfriend could be heard giving unorthodox advice such as “break his leg.” since then fighter’s girl come under some criticism over social media.
Fans on Twitter found her cornering unhelpful would be an understatement:

This is why I said he needs to change his camp. When your GF is in your corner telling you "show him that power, break that leg" that will not extend your fighting career strategically. #UFCOrlando

And then welterweight Colby Covington also put a spice in that controversy:
Hey @PlatinumPerry, maybe having your ratchet horse faced girlfriend as your head trainer isn't the smartest idea on planet earth. But hey, when you're the product of cousins fucking in Ocala FL how strong can your decision making skills be? #UFCOrlando
