Gore turned survival into a real comeback
When Bekoev shot, Gore sprawled, wrapped up the neck near the fence, and tightened the guillotine until the fight was over. It was not a submission pulled from nowhere. It came after Gore had already done the damage needed to make Bekoev slower, less stable, and easier to catch in bad positions.
That makes this a meaningful win for Gore. He needed a result that felt clear and undeniable, and he got one against an opponent who had been giving him serious trouble. Instead of fading after the knockdown, he adjusted, kept building, and found the finish.
The result also gives Gore a much better bounce-back moment than another close loss or frustrating decision would have.
