Travis Browne knocked out Alistair Overeem at UFC on FOX Sports 1, wow

What an absolutely hard article to write, especially considering the fact that referee Mario Yamasaki stopped Overeem vs. Browne as if he didn’t witness The Reem raining unanswered strikes on Browne for nearly a minute.

Some people say that Yamasaki stopped the fight too soon. Judging from what we witnessed earlier in the round it’s hard not to believe that. Although Travis Browne turtled up while Overeem was unleashing his arsenal on him, it appeared that being dropped by one punch was far too much for the ref to handle. If I possessed some technology to inhabit his Yamasaki’s body tonight at UFC on FOX Sports 1, I would have let that fight last for three more seconds. That’s it. Just three. In those three seconds if Overeem would have been able to defend himself or even managed to get a clinch, the round would have gone on. Sounds entirely too reasonable of a scenario to actually go down.

Nevertheless, Travis Browne grabbed the knockout tonight over Alistair Overeem — making The Reem go on a 0-2 streak in his UFC career. Wow. Props to Zprophet for the .gif.
