Tony Ferguson has found a new home.

Ferguson is currently riding a four-fight losing streak following his devastating knockout defeat to Michael Chandler back in May.

Following that setback, the former UFC interim lightweight champion revealed he was ready to be part of an MMA team again. He also revealed some of the gyms that had reached out to him.

“I’ve had ‘Pit Master’ reach out to me – John Hackleman,” Ferguson said. “You have Jackson-Wink, as well. You have Syndicate out in Vegas. You have the UFC P.I. You have many, many people. But I haven’t put myself out there. I put myself away from the interviews, I put myself away from the teams thinking I could do this by myself. And I did it. I’ve done this by myself for a very long time with the help of a select few individuals, and I’ve been very fortunate to have that.

“But I’m ready to be part of a team again. It was only when my team broke up that I felt really hurt that I moved areas, that I moved situations, switched management and all the above. I have to open myself up again to being coached at a high level. Especially in my sport.”

Tony Ferguson Joins Forces With Jackson Wink

It looks like Jackson Wink made a lasting impression on Ferguson.

The gym’s official Instagram account posted a picture Sunday of Ferguson along with striking coach Brandon Gibson, welcoming “El Cucuy” to the gym.

Ferguson would reply with his standard CSO comment.

“Welcome to ABQ @tonyfergusonxt 🙌..#tonyferguson #elcucuy #ufc #jacksonwink #mma #fight #camp #albuquerque #newmexico”

Jackson-Wink is notably the former home of fighters such as Jon Jones, Donald Cerrone, Alistair Overeem and many others.

It will be interesting to see what transpires as a result of this new partnership.
