On July 12th 2013 we published an article with the title ‘TJ Grant OUT, Anthony Pettis IN against Ben Henderson at UFC 164,‘ and now nearly two months later to the exact, we’ve titled yet another article with ‘TJ Grant out…’ on MiddleEasy. Conspiracy theory? Egh, I’m sure a few of you think the UFC is up to something.
Earlier today TJ Grant tweeted that he wasn’t feeling ‘100%’ for his UFC on FOX 9 fight against Anthony Pettis. Within hours the UFC replaced TJ Grant (again) and has pegged in former Strikeforce champion Josh Thomson as Pettis’ first title defense.
Now I’m not sure what Nate Diaz is saying about this, but I’m sure it involves a lot of derogatory words regarding Thomson’s hitting ability.
UFC on FOX 9 goes down on December 14th in Sacramento, California — basically Josh Thomson’s backyard. That backyard is also shared with The Diaz Brothers, so I’m sure some toilet paper wrapping will be at hand that night.
