Tim Tebow’s move to the Jets means only one thing to me – the destruction of the fantasy football relevance of Shonne Greene and Mark Sanchez. They weren’t lighting the world on fire as it was, but very quietly Shonne Green and Mark Sanchez had pretty decent 2011 seasons. Sanchez had 3,474 yards through the air tallied, with 26 passing TDs and 6 rushing TDs – career highs in all categories. Shonne Greene had a similar career year with 1,054 yards on the ground and 6 touchdowns (granted he scored 3 TDs in week 13). Now they can kiss nearly all redzone work goodbye and who knows what else.
Thanks a lot Tim Tebow, Shonne Greene was going to be my mid-round sleeper until you showed up. Look at this picture of Tebow training with Brendan Schaub at the Gracie Academy. I hope he gets injured while rolling.
