Alex Pereira has found himself at the center of serious accusations after a TikToker named Meredith Brown has come forward, alleging that he engaged in rape and sexual misconduct.

The champ might be in trouble

Brown claims that the incident took place at a hotel during UFC 302 fight week, specifically after the event which happened this past June 1 in Newark, New Jersey. In a series of videos, the female TikToker who has about 54,000 followers on the platform, stated that it all started when an unidentified member of Pereira’s team invited her friend to come to the event to meet up.

In one of the photos inserted in one of the clips, the reigning UFC light heavyweight champion could be seen side-by-side with Brown.

Brown had to defend herself from bashers

Due to lack of strong evidence, Brown received some hurtful comments from netizens. This prompted her to explain her situation on her Reddit page.

“Took me a while to find the courage to come out and say this, but I’ve been struggling so much with my mental health and I can barely get out of bed these days,” Brown posted. “Its eating me alive keeping it inside and not talking about it because I’m scared but im hoping this will help me heal and not feel so alone. I know some people wont believe me and think im “chasing clout” and stuff like that but I just wanna feel normal again and im hoping maybe me finding the courage to tell my story is the first step in that direction…

“If any other women have ever experienced this im so sorry, you’re not alone and I hope that this helps you find your voice again too,” she wrote.

Up to the time this article was published, the UFC, Pereira and his team have yet to comment or respond to the allegations.

Pereira successfully defended his light heavyweight title against Jiri Prochazka at UFC 303 which took place on June 30.
