It’s kind of bizarre to see Anderson Silva not prominently featured on the front of any UFC poster — even posters that he’s not necessarily fighting on. Chris Weidman is now the UFC middleweight champion, Anthony Pettis is the new UFC lightweight champion, and last weekend Alexander Gustafsson nearly became the new UFC light heavyweight champion. This 2013 has been an interesting year, and I totally called it in January. Before the year ends, GSP vs. Hendricks goes down, so we may see another champion get stripped of his belt. There’s one chance for the MMA universe to return to normality before the end of 2013, however. On December 28th, UFC 168 goes down and it features a rematch between Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva along with Ronda Rousey vs. Miesha Tate II.
Daniel Goland constructed this superb UFC 168 poster that is just simply too incredible for ZUFFA to actually use in the promotion of the fight.
