I feel like a better person after 28 minutes of watching The Last Emperor patiently teach his Russian pupils the inner secrets of his vast and reaching knowledge of the MMA game. It’s videos like these that make me realize how much I miss Fedor, and it’s also videos like these that make me want to extrapolate on daydreams of Fedor coming back for one last run atop the GOAT mountain. Ugh, no. I won’t get sucked back into an argument with myself about where Fedor would stand in a hypothetical scenario in which Fedor is in the UFC heavyweight division (I think he would still be top ten), because in my dream, Josh Barnett and Fedor fight in the UFC. And in this dream, I’m also a millionaire and have a machine that dispenses an unlimited amount of Twizzlers and Nibs. Solid dream.
The knowledge that Fedor will most likely never step foot in a ring or cage again doesn’t make this video any less satisfying, which is typical Fedor. He makes people feel good. Watch on.
