Pride. That’s what stops a grown man from eating a gallon of Neapolitan ice cream to himself while playing Pokemon for five hours solid. It’s also responsible for some of the most incredible fights we have ever witnessed. Men with simply too much pride to say “uncle”; fighting not for money, but for respect. To never give up nor back because of pride is truly admirable and will gain you tons of fans, win or lose. However, the down side is that having too much pride can result is serious bodily harm. Case in point: the video below, in which an amateur MMA fighter learns the ‘tap or snap’ rule the hard way. That’s right, amateur, as in he was most probably not getting paid.
