It may not be morning for wherever you inhabit, but in Hawaii it’s still Sunday morning — which technically means this Sunday Morning Rumor Mill is right on time. As with all SMRMs we cull the internet and our sources in the MMA industry for the most interesting rumors, and then publish them on MiddleEasy. We are standing by the statement that these items are rumors, not verified fact. We’re not necessarily reporting anything. Not at all.   • Travis Browne will be Alistair Overeem’s next opponent at an MMA event at some point near the end of Summer 2013.
  • Chael Sonnen has allegedly landed a lucrative deal with Coca Cola.
  • As of last week a pretty well known UFC fighter has opened up a ‘glass pipe’ shop in Florida.
  • Bellator fighter Michelle Ould claims that Brian Caraway sold performance enhancing drugs to her ex-roommate.
  • We had a pretty large rumor regarding EA UFC, but out of respect to our buds there we’re not going to share it with you. Yes, I just did that.
  • China’s ‘Art of War’ promotion are in undisclosed negotiations with Bellator. Look for a possible co-promotion or Bellator signing a deal for Chinese TV rights in the near future.
  • Someone in the MMA industry claims they have evidence that Charles ‘Mask’ Lewis was actually murdered and they plan to bring that evidence to the media relatively soon.
  • Last night during the post-fight press conference of UFC on FX 8, there seemed to be an embargo at place of MMA reporters asking about Vitor Belfort’s TRT usage.
  • Apparently Nate Diaz’s recent tweet regarding Brian Caraway and the subsequent $20k fine will be deducted from his next two fight purses.
  • Frank Trigg claims that a story told by Bruce Buffer of an altercation they had inside of an elevator is all ‘fiction.’
