Wow. If you witnessed the pre-fight UFC 117 press-conference, then you completely understand why that ‘Wow’ is justified. I’m sure there were other people in the room, but everyone aimed their questions directly at Chael Sonnen and Anderson Silva. The pink sweater? Deliberate, of course. At the end of the conference, the fighters squared off for the media to capture on a variety of digital photographic devices, but we all knew who they were waiting for. Anderson Silva literally ran directly in Chael Sonnen’s face and they were nose to nose for an extended duration. When Dana White asked the fighters to face the media, Anderson Silva continued to look directly at Chael Sonnen. Towards the end, Chael Sonnen started to look back at Anderson Silva to get in his face but Dana White rushed in to prevent any potential altercation. I can’t believe we’re just two days away from watching these two fight. Amazing.
