While we were all nursing our Cinco de Mayo margarita induced hangovers, Bolivia was in the midst of the rawest holiday on earth, their annual Tinku (Fighting) Festival. If you thought UFC 112’s outdoor arena was insane, you need to check this out. This is an anything goes, all out fighting festival held in the middle of a small rural town called Macha where dudes bang it out bare-knuckle style and this year two people died in the festivities. Some of them wear colorful hats akin to Shinya Aoki’s magical pants and others tie rocks to their hands to add extra force. Check out a clip of some of the fighting that went down this week.
