Now that the fight is off, this Ranger Up video is as senseless as a tap-dancing squirrel. Correction, a tap-dancing squirrel is never senseless when there’s a camera and an internet connection available. Jorge Rivera vs. Alessio Sakara is a fight that the MMA gods simply do not want to happen. It’s been attempted a total of three times, with all ending in a dramatic fail. It appears that Ranger Up created another pre-fight hype video featuring both fighters prior to Sakara dropping out of the bout due to an injury. It’s a funny video, but ultimately it means nothing in the realm of whimsical MMA smack-talk. Perhaps that’s why it means everything.
