I think I can speak for all of in stating the obvious – we all love to train Jiu Jitsu, and when we’re not training, we like to bid for Shoyoroll gis on Ebay and watch hype videos about the fancy pro invitational, submission only tournaments with unusual titles. It’s just what we do.
I’m actually sucker for these videos. A few dynamic long shots with some cinematic thises and thats and I’m pretty much shadow grappling in my office (not really). Throw in some powerful music and references to the Carlos Gracie/Helio Gracie rivalry and I’m ready to slap down my Amex card for some pro invitational action. Honestly, this is very cool. We don’t get this kind of super quality, big budget attention very often in our sport of BJJ/sub grappling. So, lets enjoy it.
