The greatest fight of 2013 happened in Deep - Cage Impact 2013 and no one even saw it...

Doo Ho Choi took Shoji Maruyama into deep waters at DEEP – Cage Impact 2013. That’s it — that’s my joke for today. Now I can go back to bed and contemplate last night’s episode of True Blood. Like you, I’ve dedicated far too much time in the series to abandon it, regardless of how cooky it gets. The same goes with Dexter — however that show hasn’t jumped the shark just yet. Heroes is another show that I’ve followed until the bitter end — and my god how bitter that end was. Those NBC guys had the greatest concept in television and they just squandered it by giving everyone powers. People need to realize that’s a sure fire way to kill a show. It’s also impossible to incorporate time travel on an episodic platform like a television show/web series without the entire thing collapsing.

Oh damn, we’re talking about Doo Ho Choi vs. Shoji Maruyama at DEEP – Cage Impact 2013 and not mildly entertaining television shows. Well then, shame on me for letting my brain veer off into that realm.

It’s important to note Doo Ho Choi, a fighter that most have as the number one ranked featherweight in Asia, is on a nine-fight win streak, and in a recent interview with CorMMA stated that he simply won’t lose again — ever.

I only won because of you guys and I plan to train even harder now. I will not become complacent just because I am winning. Now that I know my weaknesses, I will train hard to fix those issues. My only job is to get stronger. I will not lose to anyone.

Well Choi, if you keep fighting like you did at last weekend’s DEEP – Cage Impact 2013, you may not lose but you will be one hell of an entertaining fighter to watch. Check out what some people are calling ‘the greatest slugfest of 2013,’ and it’s hard to disagree with them.
