We can’t pretend like Frank Mir didn’t break Big Nog’s arm at UFC 140, because let’s face it — Frank Mir broke Big Nog’s arm at UFC 140. He did it in an extraordinary fashion, and while people may compare it to his Tim Sylvia arm break that he pulled off at UFC 48, let’s make it clear that Sylvia’s BJJ is no where near the level of Big Nog. To put it into perspective, in Nogueira’s eleven-year career, Frank Mir was the first person to ever submit him. That’s why you should be building a shrine to Frank Mir’s jiu-jitsu. It’s slicker than a myriad of people thought prior to this past weekend. I know that you jumped out of your chair when you saw Frank Mir flip Big Nog over and give birth to the kimura of 2011. You don’t have to lie to me. We’re all friends here. Now check out the crowd reaction from everyone in attendance at UFC 140.
