The Anderson Silva ‘Create-a-Technique’ Contest

A few days ago FighterXFashion posted an entertaining and informative interview of Glen Cordoza, co-author of The Anderson Silva MMA Instruction Manual. This is the second book by the writing duo, it focuses on the Muay Thai Clinch, Takedowns, Takedown Defense and Ground Fighting. It’s really everything a grappler with a coffee table could ever ask for, it features detailed descriptions and pictures on how to decimate your opponent, straight from The Spider himself. We decided you guys deserve to get a free one, but you have to teach us a technique first.

As useful and informative Anderson Silva’s MMA instructional manual is for beginners and vets alike, you won’t always have to use Ando’s signature Thai plum technique when you are grappling with your buddies in your Mom’s basement. This contest is for everyone out there who have always had the wherewithal to grapple like a boss and end the fight in a submission that’s more likely to be found on the playground than NAGA.

Enter the MiddleEasy network Anderson Silva Create-A-Technique contest. Teach your peers your own technique for a chance to win a free copy of Anderson Silva’s MMA instructional manual and a Magic Beanie thrown in for good measure. Do you have a way to go from full guard, sweeping into a tap inducing wedgie? Howabout faking the Kimura into the dreaded Indian burn? Show us!

Rules:

Demonstrate a technique in video or illustrated/written form. The video can be no longer than 90 seconds in length and written submissions should be no longer than 2 paragraphs. Please don’t kill or really hurt each other.

Get your submissions in now to [email protected]. MiddleEasy, DstryrSG and FIghterXFashion will pick the winner by September 30th!

Need a little more guidance grappler? Here’s an example video from uber fan Evan Cooper and the guys down at American Top Team Indianapolis.
