Thailand basically took a sanctioned muay-thai match and made it a street fight

The last time I was in Bangkok, Thailand I took a trip to Lumpinee stadium, recorded an entire round of muay-thai with my phone, and used whatever dodgy phone network to upload it to Facebook. The roaming charges were like the equivalent of a fight purse on a Bellator prelim. What I’m trying to tell you guys is if you get a chance to see an authentic muay-thai match in Thailand, don’t waste that precious time holding up your phone to record it — unless it happens in the middle of a street in front of a currency exchange shop.

These guys somehow took a sanctioned muay-thai match and made it a street fight in an attempt to get in our new Street MMA section. Well, it didn’t work. This bout was far too organized and professional. Not a single hair pull or illegal blow happened. Props to AFrontKicktotheFace on the +100 news tip.
