Most of the people I associate with have been uncomfortably numb since the doctors essentially stopped Fedor Emeliankenko vs. Bigfoot Silva this weekend due to a rather enlarged piece of meatloaf attached to Fedor’s eye after the second round. Prior to writing this article, my mother called and confirmed that ‘Bigfoot was just too big for that Russian boy’. She’s right. At the time of the fight, it was reported that Bigfoot Silva rehydrated to 285lbs, giving him 55lb weight advantage over Fedor Emelianenko. We can argue that if the fight did indeed go to the third round, things would have been a little different, but none of this matters to Dana White.
