With Cody Garbrandt looking like he’ll get the draft pick to fight Dominick “Human Flash” Cruz, where does that leave T.J. Dillashaw? After Dillashaw became the first guy to not only win, but absolutely dismantle Renan Barão in 33 fights, he lost a close decision to a returning Cruz. Since then, he’s set even his last loss with Raphael Assunção and clamored to get a shot back at the belt.
Not one to scream and curse after a win to try and convince The Powers That Be for a shot, Dillashaw has finally decided to go a different route. With everyone wanting super fights and more money, he is willing to put up $100k of his own cash that he can beat Cruz in a rematch. Whether this is accepted or not (or legal), side-bets between MMA fighters sounds like an awesome thing with infinite, hilarious possibilities.
