Stipe Miocic: My Mom Would Destroy Me, My Wife Would Kill Me, If I Acted Like Mcgregor

Several of you know now that Conor McGregor stormed a UFC 223 media day at Barclays Center in New York. He was caught on camera hurled the dolly at a bus carrying UFC fighters and shattered a window that left two athletes requiring hospital treatment.

He had been charged with assault and criminal mischief and expected to return to court on June 14. Now his fighting future is up in the air as he was reportedly in negotiation to sign the deal to return to the Octagon soon.

Several fighters who criticize Mcgregor’s infamous bus incidence and added if it was any other fighter, would have been out of UFC.

UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic who weigh in on the Mcgregor incident appeared on the ESPN studios on Tuesday said, if he acted what Irishman did, his mom would destroy him, and his wife would have killed him: (Quotes Via MMAFighting)

“Yeah, I would never do that. Like, to that point. I understand that he was trying to back his boy up, but also I understand you can’t be doing that,” Miocic said. “People got hurt. I’m constant, I’m always doing the right thing, that’s the way I was raised.

“And if I did that, honestly, my mom would destroy me. My wife would kill me. Like, who do you think you are? I would never do anything like that, I would just be who I am. I would do it a different way.”

Miocic is slated to defend his championship against UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier at UFC 226 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 7th.

Miocic has some concerns over Cormier, who is moving up to heavyweight in hopes of becoming a two-division champion, but Miocic said, he already got defeat at his own division, fighting a guy like me wouldn’t be easier.

“There’s a lot of concerns with Daniel,” he said. “He’s an amazing fighter, he’s fought heavyweight before. He’s undefeated actually at heavyweight, but he hasn’t fought heavyweight in a while and he hasn’t fought anyone like me yet.”

What are your thoughts on Stipe Miocic’s take on Mcgregor situation?
