Stipe Miocic is backing Jake Paul to come out on top against Mike Tyson.
On Friday, November 15, ‘The Problem Child’ will make his 12th walk to the squared circle for a high-stakes scrap with former unified heavyweight world champion and the ‘Baddest Man on the Planet,’ Mike Tyson. The generational superstars will collide inside the 80,000-seat AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas in what is expected to be one of the most watched fights in combat sports history.

While not everyone is exactly thrilled with the 58-year-old icon returning to fight someone 31 years younger than him, there is no doubt that tens of millions will be tuned in come fight night. That includes consensus UFC heavyweight GOAT Stipe Miocic who recently appeared on the BS w/ Jake Paul podcast to discuss his own return to the Octagon later this month.
Asked by Paul’s co-host who he sees coming out on top in The Lone Star State, Miocic offered up a simple but effective four-word response.
“I got you, babe,” Miocic said with a smile.
Circling back to the topic later on in the interview, Miocic added:
“I can’t wait for November 15, man, you’re going to shock the world like you always do. You’ve got a lot of good things coming your way, you keep doing what you do, I’m proud of you.”

Stipe Miocic Sees Jake Paul Doing Well in MMA
Once ‘The Problem Child’ wraps up his business with Mike Tyson, Paul is expected to switch focus to mixed martial arts for his long-awaited debut under the Professional Fighters League banner. No official date for his MMA premiere has been revealed, but when the time comes, Miocic thinks Paul will be just fine so long as he listens to his coaches and makes smart decisions.
“All it is is being smart on the ground, not putting yourself in a bad position where you can get choked out or arm-barred,” Miocic said. “I think he’ll be fine. If he’s just smart and listens to his coaches, I think he’ll do well.”
Miocic will make his return to the Octagon on Saturday, November 16—one night after Paul’s showdown with Tyson—for a heavyweight championship showdown against reigning and defending titleholder Jon Jones. Originally, Jones vs. Miocic was scheduled to go down at UFC 295 last November, but a pectoral injury forced ‘Bones’ to bow out of the bout.
The UFC 309 headliner will be Miocic’s first fight since a March 2021 knockout loss against Francis Ngannou.
