So, it looks like Diaz vs Miller is still not going down

What a bummer. No matter what side you are on in the Mayhem vs Diaz war, or even if you fall somewhere in the hazy, gray smoke-filled area in between the two (sort of like all of us here at MiddleEasy), you are probably pretty hyped to see this fight happen. Think of it like sex. All of the smack talk, threats and brawling going on between the two sides is great foreplay but for (insert your choice of spiritual diety here)’s sake, after awhile you can take no more teasing and just want them to take it to ‘pound town’ already.

Apparently the two sides can’t seem to agree on a catchweight to fight at so it looks like we are all going to have to keep waiting for the Mayhem Diaz climax to happen a little while longer. According to Ariel Helwani over at MMAfighting.com Strikeforce has set up a title fight between Diaz and Cyborg Santos instead. The bout is scheduled for January 29th in San Jose on the same card that Jacare will be defending his title against Robbie Lawler.

Let’s just look at it like this, foreplay is better than no play. If these two didn’t do such a good job at it, we would have lost interest months ago. For now we will just be happy with Diaz and Miller letting us get to second and third base with them time and time again, and keep looking forward to the day they bring it home. [Source]
