So Cris Cyborg Won’t Be Fighting at Invicta FC 10, Okay?

Last night’s Invicta FC 9 was, well, a show. I’m not sure that there is a whole hell of a lot to be said about Invicta FC 9 other than the fact that we dig Invicta and think that Shannon Knapp does one hell of a job with what she’s got. Aligning with the UFC got the Invicta FC cards on Fight Pass, which is cool, but it also saw the UFC raid their talent pool quite a bit, which meant that we got a card like last night’s, which was less-than-stellar.

Invicta FC 10 was slated to be Cris “Cyborg” Justino showing that she can cut to Bantamweight, but it looks like that is not meant to be due to an ankle injury, meaning that Justino is off the card. The show will now be headlined by Michelle Waterson vs. Herica Tiburico for the Invicta FC Atomweight Championship.

Invicta FC 10 is scheduled for December 5th in Houston, Texas and will be aired live on Fight Pass.
