Shucks, looks like Carlos Condit is out of UFC 127

Damn, looks like Carlos Condit has withdrawn from his upcoming UFC 127 fight with Chris Lytle. That’s sort of like buying a giant box of illegal fireworks at a shop on the Alabama state line, coming home and realizing you forgot the Roman Candles. What a massive bummer. No series of unrelenting colorful exploding shells for us as Condit and Lytle would have likely been quite the fireworks display at UFC 127. Both of these guys like to stand up, bang and deliver fun and exciting fights. Condit most recently against Dan Hardy and Lytle has proven to be an exciting fighter by winning a plethora of ‘Fight of the Night bonuses’ during his UFC career. (Quick side question, am I the only one who added the word ‘plethora’ to my vocabulary after watching the movie The Three Amigos?)

According to MMAMania.com, Condit has pulled out due to a knee injury suffered at training camp. Apparently there are rumors that Brian Ebersole will be the replacement for Condit but there has been no official UFC announcement regarding this at this time. Son of a motherless goat, hopefully Condit can heal up in time to provide us with some fireworks early this summer and hopefully I can stop quoting El Guapo from The Three Amigos before I write my next article.
