Shara Bullet has a new wrestling lane to play with while his UFC run keeps moving.
Shara Magomedov has signed with Real American Freestyle, adding another active UFC name to RAF’s crossover-heavy roster. The promotion announced the move Friday, but it has not named an opponent or date for Magomedov’s first RAF match yet.
RAF has been stacking familiar MMA names next to high-level wrestlers, and Magomedov gives the group a violent striker with enough recent grappling footage to make the unknown matchup interesting.
RAF’s announcement is below.

RAF Adds Another UFC Name
Magomedov enters the RAF pool with a 17-1 MMA record and a reputation built mostly on pressure, kicks, spinning attacks, and the kind of weird offense that makes middleweights look uncomfortable. He opened his pro MMA career at 15-0 before Michael Page handed him his first loss by decision.
He has already steadied that skid. Magomedov came back with decision wins over Marc-Andre Barriault and Michel Pereira, and his last UFC stretch has kept him hovering around the edge of the ranked middleweight conversation. The Pereira fight also produced a messy aftermath, with hair-pull and eye-poke complaints around the UFC Baku result.
The wrestling piece is less clean, which is part of the hook. Magomedov has already worked in grappling-style bookings outside the UFC, including a Hype FC meeting with Edson Barboza and a December 2025 unscored contest with Arman Tsarukyan. MiddleEasy readers already saw Tsarukyan putting Shara through a rough grappling night in Armenia, so RAF is not signing some mystery mat technician.
The opponent reveal now carries the real intrigue. RAF can match Magomedov with another crossover UFC name, or it can throw him at a credentialed wrestler and test how long the striker survives in a ruleset built around control.
RAF’s UFC crossover run has already pulled in names such as Khamzat Chimaev, Belal Muhammad, Henry Cejudo, Merab Dvalishvili, Colby Covington, and Gable Steveson. Recent bookings include Khamzat Chimaev vs. Tyron Woodley for RAF Moscow and Steveson’s RAF 12 return after his UFC 329 knockout debut.
Magomedov’s first RAF date is still open. Until RAF names the matchup, the confirmed part is direct. Shara Bullet is on the roster, and another UFC striker is moving into a ruleset built around control instead of distance striking.
