Sergei Pavlovich stopped Tallison Teixeira in 39 seconds at UFC Macau inside Galaxy Arena in Macau, China.
Pavlovich has already shared the cage with Tom Aspinall in their UFC 295 interim title fight, where Aspinall knocked him out in the first round. His callout now points toward Alex Pereira vs. Ciryl Gane at the UFC White House event.

Pavlovich pressured immediately and forced Teixeira toward the fence before the Brazilian could settle. Once Teixeira started backing up, Pavlovich kept punching in combination until referee Lukasz Bosacki stepped in.
Pavlovich Wants The Winner Of Pereira vs. Gane
After the stoppage, Pavlovich used his post-fight interview to ask Dana White for either a championship fight or a final contender bout.
“Dana [White], give me the title shot or at least give me a contender fight,” Pavlovich said through a Russian translator. “It doesn’t matter to me who wins [between Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane at UFC White House], I want to get the winner. I work hard. I work every single day. I want the belt.”
Pereira and Gane have already faced off ahead of the White House card, and their heavyweight fight is set for the UFC White House event. Pavlovich wants the winner.
Pavlovich entered the UFC in 2018 and lost his debut to Alistair Overeem by first-round TKO. He then rebuilt with a nasty finishing run, stopping Marcelo Golm, Maurice Greene, Shamil Abdurakhimov, Derrick Lewis, Tai Tuivasa, and Curtis Blaydes before Aspinall knocked him out at UFC 295.
Pavlovich dropped a decision to Alexander Volkov in 2024, then beat Jairzinho Rozenstruik and Waldo Cortes Acosta by decision. The Teixeira stoppage gave him his first finish since the Curtis Blaydes win in April 2023.
Teixeira came in as a 6-foot-7 heavyweight with UFC wins over Justin Tafa and Tai Tuivasa, along with a 35-second knockout loss to Derrick Lewis in 2025.
Aspinall is already targeting that same winner once medically cleared, so Pavlovich may still need another contender fight before the UFC gives him a title shot.
