Despite contrary belief, Sean Strickland says Paulo Costa isn’t down to fight him.
Strickland Claims Costa Is Ducking
Taking to Twitter, the former UFC title challenger accepted a call-out from Strickland for a middleweight matchup that still has yet to be booked. Strickland would be quick to call ‘BS’ on the Brazilian ‘Borrachinha’.
“Costa with his bullsh*t, it’s untrue,” Strickland told The Schmo of him fighting Costa. “I asked UFC [for Costa]– it is just bullshit. I offered to get a translator, I offered to get someone that could read and to give to Costa, but the man’s not down to fight.”
Strickland Wants To Hump Costa
In his latest plea to get a fight lined up with Costa, Strickland threatened a repeat of what former foe Israel Adesanya did to Costa at UFC 253. Of course, this is in reference to Adesanya’s wild post-fight celebration where he humped Costa after he TKO’ed him.
“I wanna do the f*cking man dance Costa, I wanna put you on your f*cking knees like Izzy did. I want to get behind you. I wanna f*cking mount you, but you just gotta say yes. You gotta sign on the dotted line, Mr. Costa. Do me a favor, miss weight so I can get f*cking paid.”

Paulo Costa is really the only fight Sean Strickland wants at the moment as he was uninterested in fighting Derek Brunson or Dricus Du Plessis next.
