Former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland recently made waves online with a striking display of skill. Though his next official fight is scheduled for February 21 at UFC Houston against Anthony Hernandez, Strickland didn’t wait to show off his striking power.
In a gym session streamed live online, Strickland faced not just one opponent, but three men at the same time. With retired MMA star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson present in the cage, Strickland efficiently sent all three sparring partners to the mat. Fans quickly reacted to the video, praising his speed, accuracy, and timing.

Strickland will officially return to the octagon in February after a unanimous decision loss to Dricus Du Plessis at UFC 312. That defeat marked his second attempt to reclaim the UFC middleweight title, leaving his record at 29 wins and 7 losses.
Facing Anthony Hernandez, a fighter on a nine-fight winning streak in the UFC, will be a chance for Strickland to regain momentum. Hernandez holds a 9-2 UFC record and has notable victories over Brendan Allen and Roman Dolidze.
While the three-man sparring session was unofficial, it demonstrates Strickland’s confidence and training intensity. Observers noted his ability to maintain focus while striking multiple opponents at once, a skill that could translate into in-cage efficiency when he faces Hernandez.
