There is still no love between Sean Strickland and former middleweight champion Luke Rockhold.

Strickland and Rockhold were supposed to collide at UFC 268 last November in Madison Square; however, an injury forced Rockhold off the card. Fast forward nine months and Rockhold has retired from the sport of MMA after an absolutely crazy battle with Paulo Costa at UFC 279 last weekend.

Whether you’re a fan of Rockhold or dislike him, there is no doubt he left an impact on the sport, and his last fight in the UFC will be remembered because of his heart.

Luke Rockhold is the definition of an uptight c*nt

Someone that doesn’t give a shit about Rockhold is Strickland. In a recent interview with The Schmo, the outspoken UFC fighter ripped into the now retired fighter.

“I’m actually glad that he retired. You will not meet a human being that meets Luke Rockhold and says, ‘Man, this is a solid guy. I want to go hang out with him,” Strickland said. Luke Rockhold is the definition of what an uptight c*nt is, and I’m glad that I do not have to hear his name or see him in the MMA community.

No one thought Luke was gonna win [against Costa]. We all knew that. You guys fu*king knew that. I knew that. Fu*king guy is a champion. He does train. He wasn’t going to win, but like, he’s not a fu*king can. You don’t win a belt, even if he did win at a very easy time. You don’t win a belt, and then fu*king suck.” h/t MMA Junkie

Strickland is insinuating that Rockhold won his UFC middleweight title during an easier time in the division, back in 2015. Rockhold finished Chris Weidman to win the belt, but then he lost it six months later when Michael Bisping knocked him out.

Strickland will look to rebound from a knockout loss that he suffered at UFC 276 when he takes on Jared Cannonier in the main event of October 15’s UFC event.
