Sean Strickland has found himself in an awkward situation during an interview.

It seems the tables have turned on UFC fighter Sean Strickland. The UFC middleweight is known widely in the MMA community for his rude remarks and candid interviews. He is never one to bite his tongue and often says exactly what is in his mind. This sort of attitude has gotten him in trouble before but now he is finding himself on the receiving end of his own banter.

In a past interview, Strickland likened MMA fighting to having sex. Now his words are backfiring on him as an influencer is calling him out for one of his most recent losses.

Strickland was interviewed by Nina-Marie Daniele aka Nina Drama, a social media personality and she came out swinging, with her words that is. She took Strickland’s “sex” comments and turned them around on him.

“Does that mean that Alex Pereira f–ked you?,” she asked. “You were training with him so does that make you his b–ch?”

This accusation did not sit well with Strickland as he laughed it off but threatened to beat up Daniele’s boyfriend. He later said he would not hit a woman but he wanted to hit her. He seemed to take it all in stride during the interview and fans are loving seeing Strickland on the receiving end of some teasing for once.

Strickland is 1-2 in his last three bouts. He is currently ranked seventh in the division. Despite having a less-than-stellar record of late, he continues to find himself in headlining opportunities due to his attitude and stunts like this interview. He is scheduled for his next bout against Abusupiyan Magomedov on July 1, 2023, at UFC Fight Night 225 in the UFC Apex.
