Scammer Jailed After Using The Photo Of Cody Garbrandt In Tinder Fraud!

Welsh Scammer Who Used The Picture Of UFC 135-Pound Fighter Cody Garbrandt In Tinder Fraud Ended Up In Jail!

A supermarket worker from Wales scammed vulnerable women on Tinder and swindled them out more than 20,000 dollars.

“Catfish” scams happen from time to time, but a creative scammer from Wales went one step further because he used the photo of dangerous UFC puncher and trash-talker Cody Garbrandt on his Tinder profile! Paul Davies, the man who pulled out a scam, pretended to be a successful businessman who “worked” as a manager for Audi!

According to the BBC report, Davies used Cody’s photo to attract vulnerable women and gain their confidence. Then the scammer demanded money, which he later used to fund his gambling addiction.

One victim even sent him 10,500 dollars (8,500 pounds), but a friend’s nephew saw the photo of the former UFC Bantamweight kingpin and alerted her.

South Wales police discovered an additional seven victims, who sent this scammer 9,500 dollars (7,700 pounds).

Paul Davies was found guilty in the court of law on Friday (fraud by false representation, eight counts) and he was slapped with a 34-month prison sentence. This scammer must serve a minimum of 17 months in jail.

Davies will have a lot of time to think about his actions behind bars. MiddleEasy hopes Cody Garbrandt won’t face problems because of this.
