However, now that ZUFFA has put an end to amateurs competing on Strikeforce cards, this was an impossible scenario. Satoshi Ishii is officially off the Strikeforce Challengers card this April 1st solely because he could not acquire a work visa in time due to the tragedy in Japan. The main event will now feature Scott Lighty vs. Lorenz Larkin.
Nightmare of Battle claims that Satoshi Ishii may be moved to the April 9th card in San Diego, which will already serve as host to a plethora of Japanese fighters.
