If you dig hard enough through the pages of Wikipedia, you’ll eventually be able to determine that Jens Pulver defeats Alistair Overeem via MMA math. It’s a simple algorithm and I’m tired of explaining it to people. In fact most MMA mathematicians have already realized that Sarah Kaufman will lose to Ronda Rousey because she lost to Marloes Coenen, who lost to Miesha Tate, who lost to Ronda Rousey. While this isn’t an exact system, it’s weird hearing fighters talk about it – especially one who’s on the losing end of an MMA math equation like Sarah Kaufman is against Ronda Rousey. We’re not sure what’s going to happen and the only way to find out is to tune in to Showtime on Saturday night. If only there was a button I could push to get the Earth to spin faster and get Saturday here faster, I’d do it. While I’m looking for that button, check out this look into Sarah Kaufman’s training camp where she goes over MMA Math and her camp discovers that Ronda Rousey’s armbar is probably something they should watch out for. Props to EKC for the awesome video.
