Sakuraba vs. Ralek Gracie officially going down at Dream 14

Last night when I saw Sakuraba rocking a shirt that said ‘Protein Water Liquor’ on Dream’s Ustream page, I knew he meant business. If you’re not familiar with Kazushi Sakuraba then you’ve probably heard of Rampage Jackson. Yeah, he RNCed him in Pride back in the day. Remember Royler, Royce, Ryan and Renzo Gracie? Sakuraba submitted two of them, handed the other a TKO and won a UD over Ryan. He has submitted Minowaman, TKOd Ken Shamrock, armbared Kevin Randleman and made Guy Mezger forfeit in the opening round of the 2000 Pride Grand Prix (actually it was Ken Shamrock who made Mezger quit after the first round, overall weird stuff).

We told you about this match yesterday in our Sunday Morning Rumor Mill but you guys didn’t listen. Instead, you choose to sit around all day dreading to go to work on Monday. Now look where it got you, you’re known around the office as that guy with the bad temper that flips out at the most inopportune times. Shame on you.

FEG announced a few matches for their May 29th Dream 14 card (that could be under Pride rules) last night/this morning and Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Ralek Gracie will officially go down inside the White Cage at the Saitama Super Arena. Ralek Gracie is currently undefeated at 2-0 with his last bout going down at Dream 4 against Alavutdin Gadzhiyev nearly two years ago. After the ref jumped in once Gadzhiyev tapped from an armbar, Alavutdin tried getting revenge by mounting him but Ralek was ready to throwdown. It wasn’t quite the fiasco that happened after Daley vs. Koscheck but I guess you just had to be there (and I wasn’t, I was on my sofa in America). [Source]
