Sage Northcutt On His Way To Attend ONE Championship Event!

Sage Northcutt Looks So Relaxed On The Road To Singapore

Sage Northcutt is one of the youngest fighters to compete in the world of UFC. He signed his UFC contract when he was only 19 years old. “Super” was far from a disappointment, earning the score of 6-2 in the UFC. His only losses came to Bryan Barbarena at UFC On Fox 18 and Mickey Gall at UFC On Fox 22. He holds big victories over Thibault Gouti and Zak Ottow. But his UFC contract expired, and this MMA free agent is looking for an opportunity in other promotions.

It looks like ONE FC is seriously interested in Sage Northcutt. ONE Championship was signing many great former UFC superstars lately. For example, the former UFC Lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez. Also, the legendary trade deal between Ben Askren and Demetrious Johnson is sealed.

Sage Northcutt shared a photo of himself riding in a comfortable plane on his way to Singapore. He will attend the new ONE event on Friday, 9th November. “Super” looks so relaxed in the photo below.

“On my way to Singapore”

According to Ariel Helwani, Sage Northcutt hasn’t signed anything yet. He is still thinking about offers. But he will definitively be present on the event this Friday.

“As he noted on social media, Sage Northcutt is on his way to Singapore for a ONE event (as are recent signees Eddie Alvarez and Demetrious Johnson). Northcutt is a free agent, however, he hasn’t signed with anyone yet. Still fielding offers, sources say.”

Do you believe Sage Northcutt is the next ONE FC superstar? After all, he didn’t get a chance to fight for the title in the UFC. At the moment, ONE Championship Welterweight division doesn’t have a real superstar. As well as you know, Ben Askren vacated his title on October 24, 2018, after signing the fabulous deal. “Super” is only 22 years old, so inking him could be a world-class move for the Asian promotion!
