Rumor: Whoa. BJ Penn told Max Holloway he’d fight and come out retirement for UFC Hawaii event

Say what now? Our bodies are ready for a BJ Penn comeback fight. A little over a year after his retirement fight versus Frankie Edgar, rumors have bubbled to the surface that Penn may be motivated to fight in the UFC again. This is a motivated BJ Penn we’re talking about.

During a recent Periscope stream UFC featherweight and all-around Hawaiian, Max Holloway said he has talked to Penn about another fight in the UFC. Holloway says if the UFC holds an event on the island of Hawaii, Penn would come out retirement to choke out a random 155 pound person. Slap yourself in the face a few times, try to jump out your backyard swimming pool from a standing position, and load up on beer and hot dogs because Baby Jay Penn the first may be coming to a Hawaiian UFC cage near you.

Hop to the 1:30 mark of the Holloway video for the Penn news.
