Rumble Johnson vs. Josh Koscheck will co-headline UFC 106

Some of you may have been diagnosed with radiation poisoning from that hydrogen bomb Anthony Rumble Johnson detonated on Yoshiyuki Yoshida’s face last week at UFC 104. If you have, it’s alright…just look at it as another way to take off a week from your job. We’re not sure when the California State Athletic Commission is going to outlaw stuffing plutonium in gloves but until they do, Rumble Johnson will continue to tear through UFC’s welterweight division. Only two of Rumble Johnson’s 8 wins have come via decision, the rest have come by inadvertently knocking his opponent through a voyage of time and space.

Sherdog is now reporting that both fighters have verbally agreed to co-headline UFC 106 on November 21st in Las Vegas. Looks like ZUFFA has replaced the potential nuclear holocaust of Shane Carwin vs. Brock Lesnar pounding it out in the cage with another one in an apocalyptic push to end the world. Props to UFC for rescheduling the entire eradication of civilization. The most ironic thing about all of this is both Rumble Johnson and Josh Koscheck have knocked out Yoshiyuki Yoshida and both fighters won KO of the night awards (although Rumble Johnson’s award was removed due to being 6lbs overweight). It took Rumble 41 seconds to KO Yoshida while it took Koshcheck 2:15. Yoshida’s face has been the equivalent of the Cheronybl aftermath in his year long UFC career. [Source]
