Rumble Johnson latest MMA fighter hit with restraining order from girlfriend

So all of sudden MiddleEasy is turning to an episode of Law & Order. Is that show still on? Rumble Johnson is in trouble and the MMA world needs more timely TV law references.

Bull? LA Law? The Good Wife? If it’s not two people fighting in a cage, anime, zombies, dragons, cartoons, the references just aren’t there for your Big Red Monster.

Anthony Johnson just got hit with restraining order which is bringing to light just how bad a dude this guy really is. To be honest, it’s been so long, most of Rumble’s past behavior has been swept under the rug. A weird relationship with pitbulls, tossing yoga mats at women, and a whole bunch of ex-girlfriends who are afraid of this guy are just a few of the allegations.

MMA Junkie with the legwork here on Rumble Johnson’s latest transgression.

“Johnson’s attorney, Scott B. Saul, said Johnson is accused of online stalking, making threats and posting intimate images of the woman, whose name MMA Junkie is withholding. Saul said the order was filed after the two dated briefly and continued to exchange messages on social media.

“He’s saying I’m going to go get my gun, and her interpretation was (the message was) aimed at her,” Saul said. “His position was somebody on social media was stalking him, and he was saying it in reference to the person bothering him and not her. That’s his position, and also I believe he may have posted a picture of her performing something intimate on him. But it all had to do with social media postings.”

Uh huh.

The woman’s attorney claims Rumble Johnson is “an immediate present danger of dating violence,” her attorney, Robyn Barrett, told the folks over at MMA Junkie.

Where Junkie really got Johnson here is listing his rap sheet, which most MMA fans have forgotten about.

This is bad. All of it.

“Johnson has a history of allegations involving domestic violence. In 2009, the two-time UFC title challenger pleaded no-contest to a domestic violence charge after he forcefully entered his ex-girlfriend’s house and slammed her to the ground, leaving her with multiple injuries.”

Word?

“In September 2014, Johnson’s UFC career was temporarily halted when a different woman claiming to be the mother of his two children filed a police report alleging she received death threats from Johnson’s friends and that he had struck her and knocked out two of her teeth in 2012.”

Jesus.

“That same month, another ex-girlfriend of Johnson’s told police he had shown up unannounced at the taekwondo studio where she worked. He allegedly grabbed her shirt behind the neck, lifted her up from the chair by her shirt and grabbed her right arm, causing bruising and scratches. She said Johnson didn’t leave until police arrived and had visited the studio 15 times before getting physical. She declined to press charges, and Johnson denied the woman’s account, saying “we talk everyday and (are) great friends.”

Ummmmm?

All of this brings us back around to that one time the UFC asked Rumble to do a Q & A and it melted down into fans just bashing Anthony Johnson for being horrible. The Top Five Best (Worst) Unkind Comments During The Rumble Johnson UFC Facebook Q & A.
