‘Rumble’ isn’t doing so hot right now.

Anthony Johnson has been suffering from undisclosed health issues for over a year. The two-time UFC title challenger would reveal in Sep. 2021 that he was fighting for his life, not knowing if he’d make into 2022.

Health Update

Fast forward to present day, Johnson is still breathing but his health remains with problems, according to his manager.

“Rumble, he’s going through some health problems right now,” Ali Abdelaziz told ESPN. “Very sad. I want everybody to pray for him. Pray for Anthony, he’s not doing well. He’s very strong, spiritually, but pray for him.

“I want to give a shout out to Bellator, Scott Coker. They’ve been supporting him. You could not imagine how much support they’re giving them. Anthony, be strong. A lot of people love you. He’s going to be okay, but he’s not doing well.”

Johnson’s last fought in May 2021, where he picked up a comeback TKO of Jose Augusto. This win would let him advance to the semi-finals of the $1M Bellator Light Heavyweight Grand Prix, however health issues would put him in the hospital.

‘Rumble’ would be forced to withdraw from the million-dollar tournament and instead entered a fight for his health.
