UFC 159 in all of it’s strangeness and bizarre happenings is seemingly also the longest card in the history of UFC cards ever. Well at least to us, and many in the Twitterverse that seems to be the going opinion. I’ve been sitting on my couch for the last four and half hours and now my glute muscles are asleep and I’m fighting to end a Starbucks laced with cocaine or Kongo picking Roy Nelson up over his head and judo tossing him. Unfortunately, I don’t do drugs and the Starbucks across the street closes at 10pm and Kongo getting Big Country airborne is almost as unlikely as Kim Kardashian dating a white guy. I was just about ready to accept my defeat to sleep and wave my white flag of surrender when Roy Nelson and the side of his fist changed everything. Roy Nelson sent Kongo straight to dreamland with a huge right hand that didn’t even land square on the knuckles. It was actually the side of Roy’s fist that landed and sent Kongo to the floor for two more punches and a referee stoppage.
Roy Nelson just gave Cheick Kongo a cure for insomnia via the side of his fist
