There can only be one thug. It’s highlander shit. Sure, you can be a thug but there will always be someone more thugged out than you, thus negating your aforementioned thugitude. Rose Namajunas remained the undisputed thug tonight.
After a short time of feeling each other out again, Rose was keeping Torres at a distance peppering with shots and Torres was managing to blitz in with Tornado Tazmanian Devil shots. Rose almost had her Thug meter drained but then had Torres down by the end of the round.

This pattern pretty much continued in each round, with it all being very close in Thug levels but Rose managing to come out on top at the end of each round either with hard shots or a takedown.
What a scrap we've got going with Namajunas vs. Torres! #UFCTampa https://t.co/CSYi6hxaAB

With the reigning thug champion stacking up this victory, it’s hard to deny that Rose is in line for the title shot with Joanna Jędrzejczyk in what could be one of the most exciting fights of all time in the women’s division.
.@RoseNamajunas get the W!
She now holds the 2nd longest active UFC win streak in the strawweight div. #UFCTampa https://t.co/m4Smt0EITU— #UFCTampa (@ufc) April 17, 2016
