With the power of the internet, comes unprecedented access to people we love to watch publicly punch other people in the face. Through social media, Snapchat even video game streaming sites, better or for worse, there has never been a time where fans can be so plugged in to fighter’s lives. Now, through Rose Namajunas’ new “Thug Diaries” on YouTube, she opens the doors even more to her life as a fighter in and out of the Octagon. …And it’s dope.
In this new series Namajunas has teased on Twitter, Thug Rose can speak openly and candidly in a way that wouldn’t be possible with outside editors and a production team. Speaking of production, it’s very well done. So, from training with Heather Jo Clark, walking dogs and getting her brown belt, keep an eye on these new video diaries.
Now all we can do is hope more fighters start giving their media more of “The Reem” treatment. Remember that? That was awesome.
