Ronda Rousey has officially transitioned from badass to full-blown boss mode. Her matter of fact explanation of her current plans are absolute proof of that. Check it out:
“I’m gonna beat up Bethe, then I’m gonna take a couple weeks to rest, and then I’m gonna go beat up Miesha, and then I’m gonna go to Thailand or wherever we decide to film,” said Rousey. “I’m gonna prep for, like, a month, then start filming for eight to 10 weeks, and then go beat up the next chick. That’s pretty much my plan.”
“How many fights does Bethe really have? Under 10? In her whole life, in any sport? I’ve had thousands and thousands and thousands of matches, I’ve been in every single situation that you could possibly think of.”
“After two Olympics, I’ve been doing this for so long. It’s not like I walked into a gym one day and my boyfriend was a fighter and I decided to give it a try. This is, like, my whole life.”
The only way Ronda can step it up further and transcend into something more than we’ve ever seen before is if she defeats a high-level opponent in-between takes of filming a movie. That’s the only thing that can possibly make her more incredible than she is now.
