Ronda Rousey Becomes WWE’s RAW Women Champion At SummerSlam 2018!

After Ken Shamrock and Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey is the first fighter who became both UFC and WWE champion. But Rowdy wrote a history – no woman did this before! Ronda made us remember her perfect armbar in the match versus Alexa Bliss! Ronda now officially holds the WWE belt!

Ronda Rousey (12-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) is a former seven-time UFC Bantamweight champion. She had notable victories over Miesha Tate, Cat Zingano, and Bethe Correia. Holly Holm dethroned her at UFC 193 via head kick. In her last match at UFC 207, Amanda Nunes literally wrecked her apart, winning after only 48 seconds via KO!

Ronda Rousey appeared for the first time in WWE back in August 2014, when she was sitting in the front row of WWE Summerslam. Rowdy had her first showdown at WrestleMania 31 in 2015. She “resolved Rock’s issues with Stephanie McMahon”. Ronda announced she joins WWE full-time at the end of January 2018. She said she won’t enjoy that much but WWE brings more money.

Just like during her early MMA matches, Ronda Rousey defeated her opponent via armbar. The match lasted around 5 minutes. Rowdy even sat on the ground provoking Alexa to choke her out. When Alexa jumped on her back, Ronda lift her in the air and slammed her hard off the ground! Rowdy started twisting Alexa’s arm from behind and made her scream. In the end, she performed an amazing transition to the scissors armbar forcing her opponent to tap out.

But the title celebration was particularly interesting!

What do you think, does Ronda Rousey have a bright WWE future?
