Robert Whittaker made his light heavyweight move count at UFC 329, stopping Nikita Krylov by KO/TKO from punches in the third round of their prelim bout in Las Vegas.
The fight was marked final as a Round 3 KO/TKO win for Whittaker, with the final event feed showing 1:01 left in the third round. In fight-clock terms, that put the finish just before the four-minute mark of the final round.
The sequence took time to break open. Krylov pushed wrestling looks early and takedowns were logged in the first round, including entries at 3:32, 2:54 and 2:40. The second round stayed tighter, with another takedown attempt recorded at 2:14. Whittaker was still there in Round 3, and the fight ended after his punches forced the stoppage before the bout could reach the scorecards.
