- Rob Wilkinson has been pulled from PFL 4 due to a failed drug test
- “Razor” has gone unbeaten at PFL and was the latest light heavyweight champion in the promotion
The reign of PFL light heavyweight champion Rob Wilkinson is short-lived as the promotion has decided to pull him from this season’s tournament due to a failed drug test, per multiple sources, including MMA Mania.
An Unexpected News
On Tuesday, it was confirmed that Wilkinson will not be competing at PFL 4 and the rest of the 2023 season. The news broke after results showed “Razor” failed a drug test following a title fight win over Thiago Santos at PFL 1 this past April.
Wilkinson was set to take on Ty Flores in PFL 4’s co-main event, which will take place on June 8, 2023 at the Overtime Elite Arena in Atlanta.

Rob has been Impressive
Prior to be pulled out, Wilkinson has been remarkably impressive at PFL, having gone unbeaten since making his debut in the promotion in April last year. Wilkinson won all of his first four bouts at PFL via KO/TKO before becoming the latest light heavyweight champion following a unanimous decision win over Santos.

Wilkinson has been a professional MMA fighter since 2011 and has already fought in various promotions. He also had a short stint with the UFC which lasted from 2017 to 2018. Wilkinson’s UFC spell was capped off by a TKO loss to then UFC debutant and now reigning middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.
