RJ Harris turned his UFC debut into a quick heavyweight finish, stopping Alvin Hines in the opening round at UFC Oklahoma City.
Harris won by TKO at 1:40 of Round 1 on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City. The bout aired on Paramount+ as part of the UFC Fight Night: Du Plessis vs. Usman prelims.

Round 1 Finish
Hines tried to close distance early, but Harris made him pay in the pocket. The uppercut lifted Hines off balance and sent him to the canvas, giving Harris the only opening he needed to force the finish.
The result moved Harris to 6-0 overall and 1-0 in the UFC. He entered the week as an unbeaten heavyweight prospect and left with a 100-second stoppage.
Hines fell to 7-2 overall and 0-2 in the UFC. His previous Octagon appearance was a short-notice decision loss to Jhonata Diniz at UFC 317, and this fight was his return after a one-year UFC anti-doping suspension.
Heavyweight Debut Lands Clean
Harris was the younger and taller heavyweight in the matchup. Once Hines stepped into range, Harris did not need a long setup or extended exchange to change the fight.
